Wayne Woodrow Hayes (February 14, 1913 - March 12, 1987) was an American football player and coach. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame as a coach in 1983. During his 28 seasons as the head coach of the Ohio State Buckeyes football program, Hayes's teams were selected five times as national champions, from various pollsters, including three (1954, 1957, 1968) from major wire-service: AP Poll and Coaches' Poll.

Additionally, his Buckeye teams captured 13 Big Ten Conference titles, and amassed a record of 205-61-10. (See Wikipedia for more info). Archie Mason Griffin (born August 21, 1954) is a former American football running back.

He played seven seasons in the NFL with the Cincinnati Bengals. Being college football's only two-time Heisman Trophy winner, he is considered one of the greatest college football players of all time. Griffin won four Big Ten Conference titles with the Ohio State Buckeyes and was the first player ever to start in four Rose Bowls. (See Wikipedia for more information). Book is in good to good plus condition. There is a bookplate on 1st free end paper (name covered with paper for privacy). There is light toning and soiling to edges, Light toning on inside. The book is very tight and there are no remainder marks, not ex-library. Any issues have been reflected in the pricing.
